The new and seventh-generation Mustang is likely to be discussed again, as its front end shifts the soft curves in favor of much more pronounced angles. The chin is now much more square!
You won’t have to wait long to discover the next-generation Ford Mustang, which has been seen by spy photographers many times in recent months and is still showing itself under a thick camouflage with a changing design. With the transition from the fifth to the sixth generation, Ford had already shaken up the codes, abandoning the traditional round lamps at the front for more tapered optics. It’s appropriate for the times. The arrival of the seventh version should again bring its share of turmoil. And since images showing the front and inside of the beast have already leaked, we won’t have to wait for the coupe’s official presentation.
A New Square Mustang

Since the Mk5, Ford has definitively abandoned the stark and refined styling of the front bumper in favor of much more elaborate body parts. But what about this seventh Mustang, which earned a hyper-square face? with very prominent angles and wide mouth! Huge openings on either side add to this width effect, reminiscent of the time when Ford abandoned the sophistication and elegance of the first Mustang and reminiscent of the “pony car” for double restyling (1967 and especially 1970). Have been on steroids. Inside, there’s still some of the mystery, but the changes should be more subtle, especially the arrival of digital instrumentation, with a new flat steering wheel and custom trim on certain versions.

Obviously, it remains to discover what hides under that long hood. The V8 won’t go away, but hybridization is expected in both the four-cylinder Ecoboost and its eight-cylinder big sibling. Finally, there is currently no indication that the car will be marketed in Europe, where CO2 emissions have doomed it to an increasingly secretive career.
